A "blizzard", a bite, and an ER visit ...

Tonight Bailey tried to take a toy out of Cooper's mouth - and he nipped at her. He got her pretty good - enough to cut through on the bottom of her palm. Chris took her into the ER (along with Dane & Wyatt - I stayed home with the rest of the kids and watched the "snow storm of December" ) They gave her an IV of antibiotics, and told us to keep her wound clean and wrapped. We now have to figure out what to do with Cooper ... our initial thought was to find a new home for him - but we also know that he hasn't been the same since he was hit by a car this summer, and we want to help him as much as we can - but also keep all of our kids safe. We had a long talk with his vet, and are trying him on dogie anxiety-meds, and will get a trainer to come to our home ... hopefully, this will work ... we really love our dog - but the safety of our children comes first ... this was a sad night for all!
