Today we picked up Dane, Wyatt, Trent, Bailey and Cooper and headed down to Carkeek park. It was a beautiful spring afternoon - pretty chilly - but still a wonderful day to be at the park. Everyone had a wonderful time playing in the surf, finding special rocks, and exploring the beach. On the way home, we came across and accident where a woman had rolled backwards down a hill on her motorcycle. We stopped to help her, and stayed with her until the medics came (she was fine) ... it felt good to help someone, and was eerily ironic for what was about to change our lives forever within the next 24 hours ...
