Here is something Sierra wrote for her daddy:
Daddy
just to hug you
see you
say goodbye to you
hear you say "your face!"
just to kiss you
give you a hug
laugh with you
just to say thank you
and
just to tell you I love you
and miss you
... just one last time
Here is something Olivia wrote for her daddy:
A man proposes to a beautiful woman.
His love of his life at the time.
The marriage is made and they have three wonderful and beautiful children.
The marriage didn't last.
They divorced and made their own choices.
There was some bad choices but also some good.
But years later, they were settled into there normal lives and adjusted.
Just as it started going good,
There was a turning point.
Two kids woke up.
Although they did not want to go to school, they got ready.
Their father was off to work and said, "I'll see you after school girls!"
One child was up and hugged him goodbye.
The other though, was half asleep and all she said was a grunt meaning bye but being too lazy to move her mouth.
It was a Friday and both kids were excited for the weekend and soccer that night.
One child was probably acting wild at school,
while the other one leaned back in her chair trying to think of a superb dinner for her dad after his busy day at work.
It was after school and one daughter called her dad to see what time her dad would be home.
"Umm, about six honey." he said to the oldest.
They said goodbye and she carried on with her life.
It was six and we were calling to see where he was.
He didn't answer.
They figured he was on his motorcycle, on his way home.
The youngest was searching through the fridge for a good meal to cook.
Again, we called.
No answer.
"Still on his way home?" the girls questioned.
Again, and again, there was just his answer machine.
Hours later, they started worrying but knew that it was impossible.
They played soccer, keeping their mind off the terrible thoughts.
Afterwards, the two got in their friends car about to get some ice cream.
Their cousins walked up and said they had to go home.
Immediately, they knew what had happened.
Tears streamed down their face like a waterfall.
It was unimaginable.
They didn't want to believe it.
It was too hard.
Too hard to picture their future...
With out their dad.
The youngest regretted being to lazy to even say, "I love you!" or even a hug like the other mornings.
"Why this morning did i not get up?" she asked herself, "why!"
If I got another chance, I'd be all over him.
The oldest on the other hand is very depressed and gloomy.
Of course she was sad just like the young one.
But she just let out her tears.
She let out her anger, fear, and sadness.
She wanted to see him once more.
Both daughters regretted the things they did wrong and wanted to start over.
The point is, you never know the future.
It can be expected or unexpected.
So unexpected that it will be hard to believe.
So even if your on your time of the month or just pissed off,
Remember,
You can't tell the future, you can only show your feelings.
You don't want to be so angry at yourself that you hurt yourself.
Be yourself and show how you feel.
So if you have been meaning to call a relative or a friend that you haven't talked to in years,
Do it now.
You don't want to regret anything, try to do your best in showing how you feel.
You might not grieve as much
