Stockings, Presents, a Scavenger Hunt & PJ's all day!

This morning we woke up EARLY - the kids rushed out to the tree to see that Santa had been here. They opened their stockings and gifts ... and then they found a note left on our tree from Santa - it was a clue to a scavenger hunt: 1. (on the tree) "Santa has left a special gift that you'll need to use your mind to find. Go look inside your frozen home" 2. (in the igloo) "where inside can you run fast, and stay in the same place?" 3. (the treadmill) "Now your are looking for a secret door. Go in Mommy & Daddy's bathroom to find out more" 4. (the laundry door in our bathroom) "The next clue is something you use your balance on" 5. (under the WII) "Off to kids sized room with two doors" 6. (the kids playroom under the stairs) "Rack them and look where a ball might scratch" 7. (in a pocket on the pool table) "The next clue is in a miniature world with a miniature family" 8. (Bailey's doll house in her room) "Now go to the top of the stairs ... 9. (outside Sierra's bedroom door) "Come inside and see if you can find what Santa has left behind" ... And at the end of the scavenger hunt: TWO KITTENS! Yes ... our family keeps growing! 6 kids, a dog, two hamsters, and now two kittens! The kids are THRILLED!!!!!!!!!!

It's snowing AGAIN! It looks beautiful, but people are getting tired of it ... but not Sierra & I! I am not sure how many days of snow we have now had ... but a lot for this area. It is supposed to start to warm up a bit and then - big surprise - rain ...

It's a Wonderful Life!

Tonight we had christmas eve at our house - it was so much fun! We had: Todd, Stacy, Bailie, Abby, Amber, Alex, Megan, and Beth and Gary. Also - Dejah, Devon, Kora & Zoe ... its been over 20 years since I have celebrated a christmas with my sister ... this was really, really special and a gift to have them with us. It started to snow (again!), so KC & Mandy and the babies couldn't make it - we hope to have a be-lated christmas party with them - they were really missed! And, we really missed Nick & Maureen - but we did get an early christmas with them! Trent, Wyatt & Bailey sitting in their new recliners from Mammy & Pappy - they are so cute!

It was so cute - as Dejah and Devon got ready to leave, Kora said "I want Santa to bring me everything Bailey has"!

Look how cute this 16 year old is!!! Too bad there is two feet of snow - making taking his drivers test a little difficult!

Dane & Chris spent a few hours in, around and finally on the igloo tonight (Dane is the blurry figure on top of the igloo ... or snow-pee) - the built a fire, ventilated the fire, got all smokey and freezing cold! But, they had fun, and the ... igloo ... is pretty amazing and HUGE!

I'm not sure what day of the "december storm" we are onto now - but, we love it! Chris and Dane finished this igloo around 12am this morning! Lots more pictures to come ... and *maybe*, more snow?!?!?!
