I still can't believe it - my poor baby! She was skateboading with Dane on a ramp he created, and she fell of the side ... at first we thought it was her knee that she hurt, then we thought it was a bad bruise to her shin ... finally I convinced her that we really should go check it out at the ER (she was fine with not being able to walk - she thought she could just crawl everywhere!). Even when at the hospital, she was all smiles and chatting with the nurses - they said they were only going to x-ray it to be sure that there was no problems - and it turned out she had a spiral fracture on her tibia! Everyone was shocked at how brave and strong Olivia was! No tears, no fussing, just smiling away! But, now she will be in a cast (from her toes to above her knee!) for at least 4 weeks ... :( Right in the heat of summer, too ... We all love you Olivia!
