Baby, it's COLD outside!!! Snow days in Seattle ...

Last night, it started snowing hard around 5pm, and continued to snow off and on, then got FREEZING cold - by 10pm, Seattle Schools announced they would be closed for Tuesday, so no school for Dane, and then Fairview School announced they would be closed - so no school for Wyatt, Trent & Bailey. We had a "hang out day" which the kids all love. We pulled the little ones in the wagon across ice covered sidewalks. We all expected school for tomorrow - but guess what? No school for anyone again! The kids are ALL happy! Chris and I only wish we got snow days from work as the kids do from school!

Having snow in Seattle is a lot of fun - and always a great treat. Playing in the snow is exciting - right up until you realize how cold your hands are! This picture is so funny to us - because if you look close, you can see Wyatt checking out Trent - and they were both on the verge of laughing as we warmed their hands in the sink - but are pretty good at pushing out a cry rather than a laugh!

Today as we were driving Alichia home (Everett), it started to SNOW! Pretty exciting to all of us. The kids (all of them) couldn't wait to get out and play in it! Trent with snow flakes landing on his face

Thanksgiving ...

Today we went over to Great Grandma Veras house for a wonderful day of family fun and a LOT of wonderful food. The kids all had a great time playing while the rest of us got a chance to visit, catch up and EAT! The kids were especially happy to have time with Grandpa Gary & Grandma Beth who were in town for the day!

But with his new school starting -

First Day of A New Preschool!!!

Today, Trent Wyatt & Bailey started their new school - they were all

pretty excited - and happy that their big brother came with

them to see their new rooms!

WE HAVE DANE!!!

Awhile back, Dane decided that he wanted a chance to live here in Seattle with his mom. It worked out so that Chris and I were able to go to Montana and pick him up. We left on Friday 11/10 and drove through the night. We rented a brand new Dodge Durango (with a "hemi" - apparently that means something - whatever it is, it was fun to drive!), we picked him up on 11/11 and were home by Sunday, 11/12. Bailey wouldn't leave his arms, Trent would hardly leave his side, and Wyatt did cartwheels for joy! We are all very happy & grateful that he is here with us and hope the transition goes well for all!

Disney on Ice!

Today Maureen and & I were able to take Bailie, Abby, Wyatt, Trent & Bailey to Disney on Ice, we had a wonderful time! It was POURING like mad outside, but nice and warm inside. The kids had a great time, and I thought the show was a lot of fun!
