WE'RE ENGAGED!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's been a thrilling past few days. On the 24th, Chris gave me the best gift I have ever gotten - a wrapped up package, which, when I opened was a shoe box. Inside, was a ring and the words: "Will you marry me" - I don't think I have ever been so happy or excited in my entire life - so much so that I forgot to answer! It's odd, because even though I was married before, I was never actually "engaged" - so, yet another first for me. This is all so new, and very exhilarating. I am thrilled and honored beyond words at the prospect of marrying the true man of my dreams. Beyond all that - Trent, Wyatt and Bailey have also had a whirldwind of fun, LOTS of presents (it looked like we robbed a toy store!), lots of family. Dane, Sierra & Olivia arrived the morning of the 26th. Its so wonderful to have them back with us. Trent ran around the house searching for Dane, and hasn't left his side since. Wyatt loves to hang out with Sierra and Olivia - and Bailey does her best to get in the middle of everyone! We love having our house full of love and laughter. Life is incredible ... and busy ... with lots of laundry.

Its COLD here in Seattle! Frost all over the ground every day. We have all been busy - lots of school functions & activities. Chris had rotator-cuff surgery last week(12/8/5) in is recovering nicely from that.
We are expecting the big kids to arrive in about a week, although Dane is hoping to stay in Kalispell with friends so he and snowboard the winter vacation away! He will be missed - just this morning Trent & Wyatt were asking why DaneSierraOlivia (their names always come out as one!) haven't been home "for a long time" - we told them they would be here in about 8 days - but maybe not Dane. Trent wasn't too happy to hear that, he wants Dane (and so do we).

Barka-weed

Last night I picked up the little kids from Todd & Stacys. We needed to go to the store before heading home, so I made a game out of. The kids helped create our shopping list. Wyatt helped come up with: Ketchup, Sugar, Milk and Apple Juice. Bailey wanted "Chickenuggetsfrenchfrycheeseburger". And Trent wanted: Tin Foil (Fin-oil), a ladder, a frog, shoes and salad. Suddenly he yelled out: "And me want Barka-weed", I repeated it to him, and he said yes ... I had to think for a minute, and realized he wanted BROCCOLI. Kids are funny!

Dane & Trent bulding with clay & legos - Trent adores Dane and is attached to him almost as much as he is to his Daddy! (11/27/05)
We have had a very full past few days - Dane, Sierra and Olivia arrived late Wednesday night and just left to go back to Montana late last (Sunday) night. While they were here, we visited with a lot of family (Saw: Grandpa Arr, Shelly, Grandma Cindy, Roger, Aunt Dejah, Aunt Jenna, Uncle Devon, New Cousin Kora, Grandma Maureen, Grandma Beth, Great-G-ma Vera, Cousins Bailie, Abby, Alesha ... and even more!). Alesha came and spent a few nights with us as well - 7 kids! We went shopping, did arts and crafts, hair and make-up and went to parks. It was all a lot of fun - we are all sad now that the big kids have left (Bailey woke up at 2am looking for them - and Trent and Wyatt looked for them went they woke up this morning). But they will be back in in 27 days!

Welcome to our little site! We are waiting for the next visit from Dane, Sierra & Olivia; the three of them have settled into their Montana life and love it - all excelling at school. Trent, Wyatt & Bailey are amazing - full of energy & loving life. Trents favorite thing to do still is to ride his bike - up and down curbs and sometimes he even dares to do it with no hands (heart stopping!), Wyatt tackles all physical endeavors - he jump ropes and hulla-hoops better than most kids twice his age; just about anything the boys try, they triumph at. Baileys favorite words of the month(s) are: No and MINE ... even in her sleep she mumbles "No, MY daddy ..." (or mommy, or toy, or orange, or cup, or whatever she decides for the moment should belong to her possession!). They are all incredible children.
